Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria on Omalizumab Therapy and Latent Tuberculosis Infection: A New Case Report

Background: Chronic Spontaneous urticarial (CSU) is a common dermatological problem characterized by recurrent pruritic or burning wheals last less than 24 hours and treated many modalities of therapy including systemic antihistamines in refractory cases with Omalizumab anti-IgE antibody biological injection. Latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) diagnosed based on positive tuberculin skin test QuantiFERON-TB without evidence active tuberculosis. Aim: To document new case report patient history CSU latent during Isoniazid (INH) prophylaxis. Case Report: A-53-year-old woman newly identified LTBI who have been INH monotherapy before starting injection followed up over weeks course for any sign reinfection. Conclusion: was used effectively the treatment minimal risk reactivation.
